How to Submit Photos

• Read and acknowledge the rules
• After submitting the entry form, you will be directed to a web page with upload information
• Upload your photo(s)

Participants may submit up to three photos in each category. Each photo must be named as follows: LastName_FirstName_#.jpg. So for example, if John Smith was submitting photos, his first one would be named Smith_John_1.jpg, and his second one would be named Smith_John_2.jpg. This is a requirement so that we can identify your photos.

Alternatively, you can provide Sam's with a CD of your photos – all entries submitted this way must be received by November 15, 11pm PST. To do this, just print the entry form from the website, complete it and include it with your photo entries to: Sam's Chowder House at 4210 North Cabrillo Highway, Half Moon Bay, CA 94019, Attn: Photo Contest. Be sure to include your name, phone, and email address. Photographs will not be returned.

Format:
Photographs must be in digital format, and in color. Only digital entries will be eligible. No print or film submissions will be accepted for entry into this Contest. All digital files must be a minimum resolution of 800x600 pixels, a maximum file size of 4MB, and in JPEG or JPG format. Photograph must have been taken within one year from submission, and may not have previously won an award. Sharpening, color correction, cropping and other photo manipulation may be done on any photograph.

Photographs will not be returned. By entering your photos in Sam's Photo Contest, you hereby grant to Sam's Chowder House and Sam's ChowderMobile (i) a nonexclusive, worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free license to reproduce, distribute, and publicly display the photographs you submit in any promotion, website, advertisement, press activity, or other marketing activities, and (ii) the right to use your name, city, and state in promotions and other publications.
